A public comment submitted in response to the National Telecommunications and Information Administration’s AI Accountability Policy Request for Comment (FR Doc 2023-07776). The comment argues that AI accountability regulations and practices can make a significant difference even when legal standards and enforceable risk thresholds are introduced solely for transparency purposes, and proposes standardized, benchmark-driven reporting through AI cards.
